Fittings
usually take around one hour.
The
first fitting will be a toile in calico so that
you get a good idea of the overall style of the
dress without having cut the actual fabric.
This
also gives you chance to amend and improve cetrain
aspects of the dress. Once you are happy with the
toile then the fabric is cut and your gown is created.
Brides
usually have around three to four fittings but this
depends on the individual and the complexity of
the gown.
This
final fittings will be three weeks before the wedding
this is when the hem is pinned for the final length
and any last adornment will be placed on the gown.
Your
dress is now a reality....
